I’ve left Adobe Draw behind and are now using Adobe Fresco as the drawing app for my vector based motifs. I’ve been using Adobes previous vector drawing app Adobe Draw for a couple of years and as Adobes new app Fresco was released a couple of weeks ago - I’ve been exploring this new exciting app. I draw the motifs on my iPad and make the final repeat pattern in Illustrator. Just be sure to have the appropriate version of Xcode and MacPorts for your Mac, or Homebrew, then you can use either package manager to install Lynx if you want, that’s up to you.As a surface pattern designer with a minimalistic, flat and imaginary style I create my patterns based on vector drawings. Lynx is great, enjoy! And yes, this works to install lynx browser in MacOS Mojave, MacOS High Sierra, MacOS Sierra, Mac OS X El Capitan, OS X Yosemite, OS X Mavericks, OS X Mountain Lion, Lion, Snow Leopard, you name it.

You then just use the arrow keys and return/enter to navigate around a site. You can then hit “G” to go to a URL, or open one directly from the command line. Once it’s finished, just type ‘lynx’ at the command line and it’ll launch as expected. MacPorts will then fetch all the required dependencies including ncurses and zlib, and then proceed to install the lynx browser. With that in mind, let’s review how to install and run a working version of Lynx in Mac OS X. Thankfully it’s very easy to install a working version with the help of MacPorts or with Homebrew. Anyway, after updating to a new version of Mac OS X I discovered my previous installation of lynx was not functioning.
